Monster Math

  1. You will need to download the monster math worksheet for this activity.
  2. This worksheet lists different parts of a body that make up a monster. Depending on what kind of math your students are doing, you can fill in the blanks for how many of each body part with an equation. You may want to make several different templates for the different levels in your class and just to have a variety of monsters.
  3. Your students have to solve these equations to find out how many heads, fingers, eyes, etc. that the monster has to have.
  4. After they have solved all of the equations, they then create their monster. They can draw and color their monster or you can have them use construction paper to make a 3D monster.
