Martin Luther King Jr.

  1. Provide as many materials as possible for your students to explore for this center. If you have access to the Internet in your classroom, there is a wealth of kid-friendly and useful information about Dr. King.
  2. have your kids create a simple chart (based on instructions you post) labeled with the six common questions:
    • Who
    • What
    • When
    • Where
    • Why
    • How
  3. They will need to use the resources you provided to answer the questions about MLK's life.
  4. They can also leave a space on their paper to include some interesting things they discover about MLK from their research.
