Center Focus

Cinco de Mayo Lookup

  1. You will need Internet access for this activity, and preferably easy access to computers for your students. You can also send small groups of students to the library if that is where your Net connection is.
  2. Have your students spend time researching the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo. You will need to specify how much time each student gets on the computer. Have a timer that tells when students should switch.
  3. They should print out relevant information and collate it after they are finished with their research. They should use the information to write a report on this holiday.
