U.S. Percentages

  1. You will need a map of the United States (or the country you live in) to place at this center. You will also need to make a worksheet with percentage questions relating to the U.S. (or the country you live in), such as:
    • What percentage of the states (provinces) begin with the letter A?
    • What percentage of the states (provinces) have water at their borders?
    • What percentage of the states (provinces) are peninsular?
    • What percentage of the states are contiguous?
  2. Have a self-check available so they may rework their answers.
  3. You may have to define some terms (such as "contiguous") and have calculators ready.
