Center Focus

Back to Back

  1. Students will need to work in pairs for this activity.
  2. Have instructions and a diagram available at the center for your students.
  3. The activity is for students to sit back-to-back with their arms interlocked and get up together.
  4. After students have succesfully figured out how to stand up, have them reflect on the activity. Have them write about how they finally got up, what method they used and what didn't work, and the difficulty of the task.
