Egg Weight

  1. You will need a dozen eggs and a sensitive scale for this center.
  2. Have your students figure out the average weight of an egg.
  3. You may want to use this recording sheet for you kids so they can keep track of all 12 eggs. There is a place for them to compute the average as well as the heaviest, lighest, and the mean weight.
