Toothpick Sculptures

  1. You will need toothpicks, duco cement(or other quick drying glue), clothespins, and wax paper.
  2. Either let students create whatever they want or give this activity a subject.
  3. Students create a flat form on the wax paper, connecting the toothpicks with glue. They use clothespins to temporarily hold the joints together.
  4. They continue to make flat "sections" on the wax paper, eventually putting them together to form a 3-D sculpture.
