Interactive Bulletin Boards

World Landmarks

You will need to place a large world map in the middle of the bulletin board. You will also need to obtain pictures of landmarks from around the world, such as:
  • Eiffel Tower
  • Great Wall of China
  • Grand Canyon
  • Mount Everest
  • Stonehenge
  • Taj Mahal
  • Great Pyramids
  • Big Ben
  • Statue of Liberty
Your students will match the landmark to its location on the world map using tacks and string. They will place a tack on the city and tie a piece of string from that tack to another tack, located on the outside border of the map. You can place these tacks there in order for students to hang the landmark pictures over them. You will need to punch holes in the top of the pictures. You may also want to laminate them for stability.
