Cultural Comparison

  1. You can use this activity after your class has read a book dealing with other cultures. You may also provide short stories from different cultures that the students can read for this center.
  2. Provide Venn diagrams that your students can use for this activity in order to compare descriptions of the main character in the story and descriptions of themselves.
  3. You can have a number of attributes that they need to compare/contrast or you can let them come up with several on their own.
