Easter Egg Contest

  1. You will need hard-boiled eggs, dyes, paint brushes, and any other decorative things you choose to do this activity.
  2. Have enough hard-boiled eggs for each student to paint two. They shouldn't write their names on the eggs - they just need to remember which ones are theirs.
  3. After everyone in your class has finished with the center, take a vote to see which egg is the "best."
  4. Students should be encouraged to make original eggs, and spend time with detailing and patterns.
