Homework Check-off Sheet

Rather than simply writing the homework assignments on the board, hand out a ditto that lists the days along with which assignments are due. It is very helpful to have check boxes next to each assignment so students can easily be sure of completion of all homework. You may also want to add a place where both the student and parent can sign the homework sheet. This may be turned it at the end of the week. This is a great way to continuously remind students about long-term projects and book reports as well. Now, nobody can tell you that they were unaware of homework assignments.
