Organized Learning

Portfolios

Having student portfolios is a great way to organize class work. It provides an easy way for you to keep track of student progress as well as for students to see their own achievements. They are also a great way to organize student work for parents to peruse during parent-teacher-student conferences. You can use 8-1/2" by 14" hanging folders in order to accomodate many varieties of student work. You could also use large cereal boxes with the one side cut out. Make these accessible to the students so they can continue to review their work.
