Most students are always anxious to share anything and everything during Show and Tell. In order to help make Show and Tell time go smoothly, make students sign up in a Show and Tell notebook prior to sharing. You can have the dates written in the Notebook indicating when you will have Show and Tell time; make five places in the Notebook for students to write their names to sign up. Make sure to specify a time during the week when they are allowed to sign up. You may also have your students write a brief description of what they will be sharing--sometimes they forget!
