Student Management

Chair Stacker

Assign two students to be the official Chair Stackers for the class. Do this when assigning other class jobs. Make sure to rotate the jobs bimonthly. Students should stack chairs on desks about five minutes before the end of the day, when other students are doing their end-of-the-day class jobs. Students who are ready to go should line up in front of their desks or on the class rug or by the door. A good way to make the end of the day go smoothly is to have all of the students clean up their desk area and then go to the rug while the Chair Stackers are doing their duty.
