Often when you have guest speakers in your class, students act "bored" and uninterested as many speakers aren't familiar with how to speak to students. In order to make these experiences more valuable for your kids, prepare your kids ahead of time. To do this, familiarize your students with the speaker's topic and have them write some good questions to ask. Go over the questions with your class so everyone can ask different questions. They will also express more interest during the talk as they will already have some background knowledge about the subject.
