Keep a box of cards handy on which you can quickly write down activities that your students can choose to do when finished with their required assignments. Continue adding fresh cards to the collection as you come across new ideas. Any of the Center activities would work perfect as Choice Cards. Simply write down the steps for the students to follow and then they can do it on their own. When they are done with their work, they consult the box of cards rather than you.
