Bell Work

Strings by Length

Have your class work in small groups to put a series of different length strings in order. For more advanced students, you can have the strings cut in particular lengths that form number patterns, such as the Fibonacci sequence or 2, 4, 8, 16... They will have to put them in order, measure the strings, and then figure out the pattern.
