Bell Work

Memories of Home

Put plain drawing paper on tables before students arrive. Have instructions for students to draw a picture of the front of their house from memory. They can use color too. You can extend on this assignment by having students draw a picture of their house when they get home and then compare/contrast the two. This will stress the importance of seeing but not really looking. Display the sets of house drawings around the room. Your students will have fun with this activity.
