If you move your students around quite a bit, you may want to encourage your students to get supply totes. They can find these at most office stores or at Target, KMart. Walmart, etc. Of course shoe boxes or other small boxes would work just as well. This way students can simply take all of their supplies with them wherever they go. Whether they move "permanent" seats or are just moving around from center to center, this will make things go more smoothly. Kids often don't like leaving their supplies at their desk while other students are sitting there, especially pencils. There will be less problems with stolen items, or assumptions of things being stolen.
