Class Books
Books that you make with your class are often made out of thinner material than are regular books, and they tend to get bent and torn easily. You can help stop this problem by keeping them together and hanging them by their spine. To do this you will need a cardboard box; an average size copy paper box works well. Attach rows of string across the top of the box, the narrow way, using heavy tape or tacks. If using heavy books, you may want to tie the string all the way around the box. You can also punch holes in the top of the box to thread the string through in order to keep it stationary. Cut the front edge on one of the narrow ends (see picture). Hang the class books over the string. You can put labels on the outside of the box so your kids know what book is in what box.
