Housekeeping Documents

Teachers are always having to collect papers from their students such as surveys, field trip permission forms, medical records, etc. To help stop the clutter, hang a plastic file tray next to your door or in a designated place near your desk. Label it "Important Forms" and introduce it to your students and remind them to use it until they get used to the idea. This will help put the responsibility on the students because they will have to go through the bookbag in the morning and put all pertinent documents in the Important Forms folder.
