Bell Work

What Do the Books Have in Common?

Have several books on each table ready when students enter the room. Select the books so that they have something in common (ex: same theme, all starting with 'Once upon a time,' all have a girl as a main character, etc.). Have students read the books and as a group decide what the books have in common.
