Have students pick up a die on the way into the classroom. They will need to number a piece of paper from 1-6. The assignment is to find the probability of the numbers 1-6 coming up when the die is rolled. In order to do this, have them roll the die 50 times, tallying the results. Have them make a conclusion about the probability of each number based on the results.
