Bell Work

Spelling Patterns

In order to give students practice understanding spelling patterns, give them words to spell that they may have never even heard of. To do this, play a tape with you saying the words and have your kids write them down. When the tape is finished have a self check available for students to see what they missed. You may want to discuss general language "rules" afterwards.
