Bell Work

Root Word Slide

Download this reproducible to use for this activity. Make enough copies for each table to have a set. There will be 10 different root words that each have a variety of 3 different suffixes. Each student will choose a word and will then need to find a slide strip, containing suffixes, that works with it. Have your kids make up sentences for the different words they form from one root word.
